A supportive resource to help students understand how to describe language in a text, specifically Rani and Sukh by Bali Rai. Students are given a card with a quote from the text and they have to match it with a 'descriptive words' card. These cards include more interesting analysis words like, 'poetic', 'sensuous' and 'colloquial' to try and encourage some more interesting analysis from students!
