This PPT can be used to prepare students for AQA Paper 1A: addressing Q3 - "How has the writer structured the text to interest you as a reader?"

It's a good resource I'll be adding to my ever-expanding bank of resources (though my understanding is that 19th C fiction extracts won't be used in the exam for this exam paper; they will all be chosen from 20th and 21st century.) Nevertheless, an engaging text to practise the skills. I've done the same with excerpts from classic 19th C fiction.
